About the role
Cube Fleet Solutions and Bromyard Body Repairs are looking for a motivated Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team in Bromyard.
This role is ideal for someone starting their automotive career who wants to learn hands-on trade skills in a supportive, busy workshop.
You will work alongside experienced technicians and learn how to service, repair, and prepare a wide range of fleet and commercial vehicles.
This is not a high-pressure dealership environment. We operate a small, dedicated workshop team with steady hours and no weekend shifts.
What the role involves
As an apprentice, your daily duties will include:
- Assisting with routine vehicle servicing, oil changes, and filter replacements
- Learning brake inspections and replacement (discs, pads, and shoes)
- Tyre inspection, removal, fitting, and wheel balancing
- Conducting visual vehicle health checks and safety inspections
- Assisting with bodyshop strip and refit tasks (bumpers, doors, and trim)
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organized
Training and qualifications
- Practical on-the-job training with experienced mechanics and body repair technicians
- 4 days working in the workshop and 1 day attending college (day release)
- Support towards a recognized UK automotive qualification (e.g. Level 2 Autocare Technician or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance)
- College training delivered through local providers such as Herefordshire & Ludlow College
- Long-term progression into a qualified vehicle technician or fleet specialist role

Working pattern and pay
- Full-time apprenticeship
- Monday to Friday (4 days in workshop, 1 day in college)
- No weekend shifts
- Hourly pay: National Apprentice Minimum Wage (£8.00 per hour, reviewed annually)
- Paid holiday allowance and tool support
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for motor vehicles and repair work
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English (or equivalent qualification)
- Full UK driving licence preferred, or working towards one
- Good communication and teamwork skills
